- TriviaWhen Star is at her school inside the wand she comes across Marco's locker. Inside his locker is a photo of the group Sev'ral Timez, a group that exists in Gravity Falls where Mabel Pines has an obsession with them. This could mean they exist in the same universe (they're both Disney shows).

I love you, Pony Head!
"Into The Wand" was actually the episode I really thought I would enjoy more. I mean, it deals a lot more with the mythology of the series as it features Star learning about her ancestry. I love the appearance of her in Marco's red hood. She does look just like Little Red Riding Hood! We see her find out that her mother fought Toffee, the main villain long ago and we get some nice allusions to her other ancestors. She retrieves Toffee's finger which I'm sure will become more important later. The thing is, while a great episode, I do think it could had more action. ***1/2
"Pizza Thing" on the other hand is an instant classic. I love it simply because it focuses on Pony Head and Marco. I think Pony Head is probably my favorite character next to Marco. It's great to see Pony Head wear skinny jeans even though she's well, literally just a head. Marco looks funny in them too! I actually do feel bad for the chef at the end of the episode. It's great to see Pony Head and Marco work together, even if the end result isn't that impressive. It's cool to see Pony Head use her unicorn horn magic. It reminds me of "My Little Pony". ****
