It's TOO positive for a MONSTER show!

Well...

As I said, it is too positive, or has more GOOD stuff in it, than to focus on the bad side, as it is a Monster show.

I can't really describe it, but, being a monster show, I expected something like they'd train these "Super Monsters" to be BAD or how to destroy things, something like that...

But, I didn't really see anything of that sort in there.

So yeah, that's what I wanted in this series, something bad, something naughty, you know? As these are Monster Kids, not Human Kids.

Welp, I'm pretty new when it comes to posting reviews about movies and stuff. So, if you don't agree with me, feel free to disagree by pressing the NO button.

I have read some of the reviews and I have to LAUGH.. People are complaining because it's not GRUESOME enough, how MORBID is that, this is a setting for young children to understand not ALL monsters are SCARY, IT'S A preschool ATMOSPHERE, NOT fright night.. I work with young children and I think this program is PERFECT for them, mine LOVE..LOVE..LOVE IT, HOPING WE SEE MORE SEASONS...

I am a horror movie fan, so it's great to have a cute show for my son to watch. He is 3.5 and loves it. He rather watch this than PJ Masks, which he use to love. I really like the fact that the Frankie "Frankenstein" (though in reality it's not his name) Wears glasses, since my son just started wearing glasses and his name is Frankie <3

I have four kids, two are 4 and 2. I have seen every episode at least 8 times, because my 4 year old can't get enough of this show! Please, Please PLEASE give us more. My only question is, why do the kids change, but the adults don't?

Catchy tune, innovative idea, and kids with imagination! My preschoolers ask for this before they go home! The children attend daycare at night when the sun goes down because, of course, that is when the monsters come out! But they are not scary and the have fun adventures! Hope they make new episodes!!

My kids love this show. With monster movies out for adults, the kids can relate with this series. Without being too scary. Exuhibita good values for kids, as well.

I appreciate this show teaching friendship, manners, inclusivity, and safety. My 4 year old likes it. Now that I've watched a few episodes, I feel comfortable adding this show to the available and appropriate shows my daughter can choose.

Perfect Show

Out of all the toddler shows on Netflix this one is perfect. Super monsters are helpful, kind, and always helpful. No annoying constant songs, just a cute transformation scene twice a show. Spike drives me batty but my toddler enjoys him.

My son loves this show! My five year old-who's transitioning to kindergarten-loves all the characters. Beyond the powers, I think he finds the show relatable.

As a parent, I particularly appreciate how diverse the show is.

Good Lessons, Good Songs, Good Animation

I'm a HUGE fan of this show- I watch it as intently as my three-year-old does, enjoying the songs with equal vigor. The animation is absolutely beautiful, with lovely saturation and contrast without being an eye sore, very much fitting of the "monster kids" aesthetic. The songs are catchy without being annoying, enticing my husband and I to start dancing alongside our preschooler. The characters are lovable, each with their own unique flaws and challenges and strengths, not only learning from their teachers but also teaching one another as only children can. The show emphasizes teamwork, friendship, manners, gentleness, and trying your best. Love it!

Not worth seeing!

Really? Every five minutes, all "monsters" are introduced over and over again. Even my little daughter finds it annoying!

Besides, the whole series is much too "soft" - everybody is always nice and accommodating. This is simply unrealistic. The children get a wrong picture of the real and sometimes hurtful world.

I hardly see creativity in writing either. The consequences don't offer any added value - except that maybe they reduce the fear of monsters in a questionable way.

The animation is okay, which is why I don't just give a star.

But all in all, I don't think this series is worth seeing for children (or anyone else).
