Horrible last season

LOVED this until the final season. In many ways, the professor was a more quirky German version of Monk. As someone with ASD and PTSD, I could sympathize with many of his struggles. There were those who loved him and supported him, those who tolerated him, those who respected him, and those whom he annoyed beyond all belief. I realize that shows have to kill off characters for a variety of reasons. I won't be a spoiler and say who they are here. I also know that some shows need a definitive way to end a series. There are classic good ways of doing this like MASH and terrible ways like Seinfeld but this was the WORST EVER. After the final episode, I regret ever watching the show.

Very different to what German TV usually offers

Stylish, beautiful and real character arches - I love this series! Matschke embodies T to a point where even his tiniest movements are almost like a machine in the fantastic close-ups which there are many of. He is truly brilliant, versatile and makes this difficult role look so effortless - he was made for this character and his acting is particularly impressive to me after first discovering Matschke in comedy. I guess that that makes him so perfect for this serious part. Jahn, the director, writer AND cinematographer is a movie director through and through and no doubt the most unusual, fun and talented director I know. He's a genius with all these skills on that level. And it seeps through in every scene that he has a great sense of humor, as well as true love and passion for what he is doing... something that directors can lose after a strong 20 year career in Germany - I can't wait to watch what he is up to next and I hope to see him do more English movies again! He surely changed the world for Germans with his classic "Knockin' on heavens door" - glad to see a movie director who has not lost his knack for big screen storytelling while doing TV formats - his cinematography alone blows my mind. Small screen, big screen - can't wait to watch more. I hope that Matschke and him get some TV awards for Professor T. They deserve it.

Nuff said.

The Belgian version is much, much better then the pretenders.

The characters, the humor, just the overall craziness cannot be duplicated.

Oh yes, Bach is god.
