Unfortunately inspired by true stories ...

The trio Swann Arlaud + Finnegan Oldfield + Charles Berling is excellent and reinforces a literally incredible but sad story: indeed, in this film, the character of Faustine is barely credible: she is certainly converted to the Muslim religion but without being radicalized, then the suite is somewhat far-fetched: why this mother leaves France WITH HER SON to join an evil and terrorizing country ?

Powerful Movie But I Had NO SYMPATHY For The Mother.

I gave this film a "6" anyway because of what was presented onscreen - a raw, unflinching look into how ISIS operates in Raqqa. Unfortunately, I had NO sympathy for the mother who traveled from France with her five year old son to Raqqa "to help" ISIS. Where the hell did she think she was going? Shangri La? Xanadu? Margaritaville? Has she NEVER seen the news about ISIS or was she too busy watching French soap operas? In the end, you feel no sympathy for the husband either because he married an idiot who converted to Islam to to help ISIS and now he wants the Western World to help him. Screw him and his wife. I only felt bad for the kid. ISIS can go to hell and so can his stupid wife.
