- The entire 82 minutes of this episode is an extremely intense, graphic, bloody and chaotic battle. Thousands and thousands of men and women are violently hacked to death by vicious zombies. The entire episode as a whole is frightening and has lots of scary moments throughout.
- Countless zombies are shot by flaming arrows, engulfed in huge explosions caused by dragons who breathe lots of fire, struck down by swords and weapons that are made of dragon glass. Their heads and bodies smash to pieces with blood splashing everywhere. Numerous soldiers are violently cut down by an enormous flood of zombies, and they get their throats slit open with blood spurting and spewing, some of them are decapitated.
- Half of a zombie dragons face is torn off, we see its internal organs
- Men and women are covered in blood throughout the episode. Zombies are seen with their faces ripped open, we see things such as skeletons and internal organs.
- An entire army is swarmed and murdered by a flood of zombies, it is seen from a far distance. The zombies are later seen violently charging towards another army.
- Booby traps are used throughout to kill zombies, such as trenches filled with large spikes. The traps later explode with the zombies. Huge flaming boulders are used a few times. They kill lots of zombies.
- Men are heard being butchered alive offscreen by zombies while they beg someone to open the door to a safe room. This is very disturbing.
- A zombie is stabbed in the throat, lots of blood pours out onto another character.

- There is constant peril and hopelessness as you are watching the battle scene. Characters are put in numerous intense situations that make it seem like they don't stand a single chance against the zombies.
- The atmosphere for most of the episode is akin to that of a horror film.
- There is an ginormous blizzard throughout the episode. Characters are in constant agony and endure strong and heavy winds.

Violence & Gore
- A major character is impaled in the stomach by an Ice Demon. Blood trickles and flows from his mouth and stab wound.
- A major character is brutally stabbed multiple times by zombies. He dies due to massive blood loss.
- Dragons fight each other by clawing and chomping each other, blood is seen pouring out. One dragon has hundreds of zombies pile on top of him and start to eat him and stab him a bunch of times. The dragon is heard crying out in pain. He does not die.
- Arya stabs The Night King in the chest and he shatters to pieces along with thousands of others. The rest of the zombies die and turn to ash.
- A major character is stabbed by ice zombies, he then dies in a woman's arms, she cries as he perishes.
- An undead giant is seen killing lots of people with a club. A girl is crushed by the giants grip, we hear her entire skeleton crush and we see lots of blood coming out of her mouth, she manages to stab the giant in the eye, it then turns to dust. The girl dies along with the giant.
- Arya's head is bashed into a brick wall, we see a big wound on her forehead, blood is later seen dripping from her forehead.
- A woman removes a necklace that makes her look younger, as she takes it off, she begins to slowly turn to dust.
- Drogon and Rhaegal fight the undead Viserion.
- Daenerys Targaryen with Drogon and Jon Snow with Rhaegal burned thousand Wights. Night King with Viserion burned thousand men.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Four major characters die throughout the episode, these scenes are extremely emotional.
- The Night King uses his "raising the dead" technique. Thousands of dead people (including major characters who were killed off during the battle) are brought back to live as ice zombies. There are several cold, and bone chilling gazes from the zombies. This scene is quite shocking and emotional.
- Drogon and Rhaegal fight the undead Viserion.
- Drogon is stab by thousand Wights.
