Dawn French was unrecognisable (sort of) as Claudia Winkleman in BBC One’s parody of The Traitors for Comic Relief.
The Vicar of Dibley star donned Winkleman’s trademark black fringe for the sketch as well as one of the star’s giant roll-neck jumpers that gradually enveloped her whole face.
“I’m actually Claudia Winkleman: half woman, half fringe,” French tells the contestants.
“It feels like it’s time to have a discussion,” she continues. “And during that discussion I will be walking round this table incessantly saying creepy stuff and looking absolutely gorgeous.”
In one scene, French parts her fringe using a curtain pulley.
The “contestants” included Alison Hammond, who was just confirmed as Matt Lucas’s replacement on The Great British Bake Off, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mary Berry, Stephen Merchant, Danny Dyer, Jennifer Saunders and two actual Traitors contestants from season one.

Gethin Jones wept on BBC One’s Morning Live today (17 March) as he neared the end of a 24-hour dancing challenge for Red Nose Day.
The TV presenter, 45, had been awake all night, doing his 24-hour #StrictlyFitness dancing challenge to raise money for Comic Relief.
At the end of the 24 hours, it was revealed on the show that Jones had raised more than £900,000.
At one point during the challenge, he was shown crying with joy at how much he had raised.
Over on BBC Breakfast, clips were shown of Jones dancing throughout the morning, with the presenter so exhausted he was unable to speak. He managed to give a thumbs up to camera at one point, while bobbing up and down on the spot.
Countryfile star Helen Skelton briefly danced next to him, telling viewers he was a “broken” man.
Speaking ahead of the challenge, Jones had told Radio Times: “It’s mental resilience,...

Exclusive: The Red Nose Day showrunner has urged crew on the iconic BBC charity telethon to “make a fuss” about misconduct as part of BBC Studios’ efforts to pre-empt inappropriate behavior on its shows.
Deadline has obtained audio of Peter Davey delivering what has become known as “the pledge” to gathered crew and presenters on Thursday morning. Listen to an excerpt below.
The idea, first introduced last August, is that the pledge is read out at the start of each BBC Studios production to encourage respectful and inclusive behavior, and make clear that wrongdoing should be reported.
There is no suggestion of any concerns relating to Red Nose Day, but sources said they felt reassured by Davey’s address ahead of the show going live on BBC1 on Friday night. The program raises money for Comic Relief, the charity founded by Love Actually director Richard Curtis.

Eric André claimed he and his show’s crew were “broken down” by guest star Chet Hanks.
The 39-year-old comic hosts The Eric André Show, an absurdist sketch programme that parodies late-night talk shows. The Adult Swim series features cameos from celebrities and celebrity impersonators, interspersed with chaotic man-on-the-street type segments.
Speaking with Rolling Stone about the show’s forthcoming sixth season – debuting on 4 June – and the celebrity guests fans can expect, André recalled the day he brought on Hanks, the son of Hollywood icons Tom and Rita Hanks.
“He broke our crew,” the comedian remembered of Hanks, referring to him as a “tough cookie”.
Andre said Hanks rode a motorcycle around, almost knocking “a bunch of grips and gaffers off their ladders. It was very dangerous”.
“He tried to prank us back, but we edited [it out].”
The Independent has contacted Hanks’s representative for comment.

Dawn French and Claudia Winkleman have posed in a picture together, in which the pair look bizarrely similar.
The Vicar Of Dibley star, 65, struck an uncanny resemblance to the Strictly Come Dancing host, 51, in a playful Instagram selfie taken as they filmed a skit based on Winkleman’s hit BBC series The Traitors.
The sketch, which will appear as part of BBC’s Red Nose Day programming on 17 March, will see French perform alongside her longtime comedy partner Jennifer Saunders, according to the BBC.
In an Instagram post captioned: “Coming soon…#traitors #comicrelief,” French and Winkleman smile next to eachother as the comedian wears a jet black wig, cut into a bob with a fringe, resembling the presenter’s iconic hairstyle.
In the photograph, the words “Claudia Winkle” are placed over the real Winkleman, while the words “Also Claudia Winkle” are placed over French.

Newsnight viewers – and Victoria Derbyshire – were unable to contain their laughter after Conservative peer Ken Baker’s phone wouldn’t stop ringing on TV.
During Tuesday (31 January) night’s episode of the BBC political programme, presenter Derbyshire sat down to discuss the state of the Tory party with the 88-year-old politician.
However, Baker’s phone began ranging during the conversation, with the Baron saying: “My advice to him is not to listen to my telephone, never mind.”
But while Baker thought he’d put his phone away, it kept ringing, leading him to ask Derbyshire: “Will you turn it off?”
She put the phone on silent, joking: “You’re in demand, you really are.”
The phone began ringing againt as the conversation kept on the topic of prime minister Rishi Sunak, with Derbyshire laughing: “Somebody is telling you to shush.”
She handed Baker back his phone at the end of the conversation.

Emily Atack is being praised by critics for her “provocative” new BBC documentary tackling sexual harassment.
In Emily Atack: Asking For It?,the former Inbetweeners star discusses her own experiences of sexual harassment and sets out to learn how something “so grotesque, aggressive, malicious and violent” has evolved.
During the programme, she shared a number of misogynist social media messages she has received, including rape threats, in an attempt to understand how abuse has been normalised online.
She also spoke to a sexual violence and abuse councillor and online safety campaigners, as she asked why harassment has been normalised for so long.
TV critics praised the 33-year-old for asking important questions and doing a “very brave job” on a difficult subject.
“Emily Atack, normally seen as a cheerful TV personality and comedian, did a very brave job here in overcoming deep embarrassment about her daily reality,” read The Times’ review.
