Five years is too long between gigs for director Derek Franson. The director of Comforting Skin is back with a proof of concept for a new film called Rue. We insist you take a few minutes to watch it. The stand-alone short story was produced to introduce the wraith-like Rue creature and the mythology behind it, a precursor to the feature film Derek has in development. Enraged by an unseemly love affair between best friend and teacher, a student carelessly awakens a wraith that feeds on its victims' most shameful regrets.
