An excellent documentary about what life is really like for wild mountain lions through the largest US study ever conducted of them. Tremendous footage through hidden cameras of actual wild cougars living their secretive lives. Unfortunately, those lives are dangerous and difficult, due largely to human hunters and the recent reintroduction of kitten killing wolves to the cats' Grand Tetons range. Intimate footage of wild cougar kittens who we get to know as individuals is particularly touching as is their struggle for survival against increasing odds. Of 100 kittens born during the study, only 20 reached adulthood. So be prepared for real life tragedies.
