Supergirl : Why would he want to blow the building up? He's inside, too. He'll die.
M'gann M'orzz : It doesn't matter to Armek. He'd proudly give his life to complete his mission.
Alex Danvers : Can we shut it down manually?
J'onn J'onzz : No. The White Martian who took Winn's form also took his intelligence. He's re-encoded everything. We're locked out of the entire system.
Alex Danvers : So we need the real Winn to unlock it.
Supergirl : But how do we know Winn's even in the building?
M'gann M'orzz : Well, in order to Armek to shapeshift into Winn so exactly, he'd have to be close by, to keep the telepathic link.
J'onn J'onzz : He's in the DEO.
M'gann M'orzz : Well, can't Supergirl x-ray vision the building to find him?
Supergirl : No.
[pointedly to J'onn]
Supergirl : Someone lined the walls of the building with lead.

Supergirl : I was mad before, about Earth birthday.
Alex Danvers : I knew it. I owe you an apology. I shouldn't have bailed on you.
Supergirl : Just... hurt my feelings.
Alex Danvers : I know. Look... it wasn't fair. Look, I don't want to feel bad for wanting to spend time with Maggie.
Supergirl : You shouldn't. That's a good thing. I just... ever since I've been on Earth, I don't know what life is like without you there all the time. I... I felt that changing, and... and it just... just... was scary. When my parents put me in that pod on Krypton, I... I don't think I realized what was actually happening. I... I didn't know that I was saying goodbye to them forever. It's just I've been abandoned before and I didn't want to be abandoned again.
Alex Danvers : I will never abandon you.

Alex Danvers : Nice shot, sis.
Supergirl : You're not my sister.
Alex Danvers : [Supergirl prepares to fire her heat vision] Oh, maybe heat vision isn't a good idea in a room with an unstable nuclear reactor.
Supergirl : Well, then I guess we're gonna have to do this the old-fashioned way.

Alex Danvers : Well, to tell you the truth, I'm glad they found your sister. It is so exhausting pretending to care about your silly little feelings.
Supergirl : If you hurt her...
Alex Danvers : You'll what? Whine at me?

Alex Danvers : Speaking of that White Martian, um... when it was me, did you have a conversation? Because I have these memories; they're like, um... well, it's almost like a dream that... that we talked, but I'm not really sure if that was real.
Kara Danvers : Do you remember?
Alex Danvers : Yeah. So I'm not crazy.
Kara Danvers : Nope. I guess if the White Martian's bond is strong enough, the telepathy goes both ways.

Alex Danvers : Kara, I'm not ever going anywhere. Okay? I promise. Just because I'm with Maggie, it doesn't mean that I am not with you. Always.
Kara Danvers : I know. I... I guess I just made all those big plans 'cause I wanted the day to be extra special, and I... I felt you slipping away.
Alex Danvers : I'm not. Ever. But... is that the only reason you made such big plans?
Kara Danvers : What do you mean?
Alex Danvers : Look... sometimes, you know, in our life, when one part is really confusing, we will pour way more attention than necessary into another. And, you know, you... you looked a bit overwhelmed when you talked to Mon-El. So maybe the reason that you made such big plans with me was so that you didn't have to think about how you actually feel about him.
Kara Danvers : I told him how I feel.
Alex Danvers : Mm-hmm. And you really believe that?
Kara Danvers : He's complicated.
Alex Danvers : Mm-hmm.
Kara Danvers : And it's not just about him. It's... it is about me. Every time I put myself out there, it backfires. I don't want it to happen again. I... it's too risky.
Alex Danvers : You know, I happen to have taken a rather big romantic risk recently. And I got to say, it pays off. Maybe he's worth a shot.

Supergirl : I know, I got a little over-excited. But, it's... it's okay. We can just... we can celebrate another night.
Alex Danvers : So, you're not mad at me?
Supergirl : No, no, no, I am not mad.
Alex Danvers : Because it really felt like you were mad at me. And then I felt guilty for trying to have fun.
Supergirl : Alex, I was being immature. I want you to have fun with your girlfriend. It's not a big deal, it's fine.
Alex Danvers : You promise?
Supergirl : Absolutely.
[but as she walks away, her expression tells a different story]
