- TriviaWhen Loki (Deobia Oparei) is missing, Joel (Timothy Olyphant) is forced to stay at his apartment by his drug dealer friends. One of them, Eva (Cara Santana), offers Joel half of her ecstacy tablet. Timothy Olyphant's breakout role was as an ecstacy dealer in Go (1999) whom Katie Holmes' character is forced to stay with as collateral during a drug deal.
- GoofsMarcus punches Joel in the face, hard enough to knock him out. But after that, Joel has no black eye or any marks on his face.
- Quotes
Eva: You know, my man is always making me do all this dangerous stuff by myself.
Joel Hammond: Really?
Eva: Yeah. Why is he doing that to me, Joel?
Joel Hammond: I don't know. Maybe he's not great at danger and thinks he would just get in your way.
Eva: You know, I never told him, but I want him with me. Having him there makes me feel better.
Joel Hammond: Of course it does. And he should wanna make you feel better. He needs to stop only thinking about himself, put his issues aside, and be there for his wife.
Eva: We're not even married. And I got a ton of shit to say about that, too.
Marcus: [walks into apartment] What the fuck?
Eva: Yo, this is Joel. And he didn't do nothing to Loki. And he says you need to stop being a fucking pussy and come with me when I do my drops, and fucking put a ring on it, Marcus!
Joel Hammond: Marcus is your boyfriend? Would've been good to know.

episode 5 had a twist in the narrative that made it better. It hooked me at 5 and sold me at episdoe 6! I didnt review episode 5 but If I did the name I choose would be title: Alfred. Because that's exactly what Jeff's part has been. The man that cant do it or telling his wife, "you're batman--" "Oh, dont worry Robin's important!"
"I was going to say you're Batman and Robin. I'm like Alfred."
That's sums up exactly the series up until the end of episode 5.
After this episode, however, things go out with a flash and bang. You'll get the title if you havent watched.
The daughter is so brilliantly acted and keeps it grounded. Her and Timothy keep this show from being stupid and too silly to even care. The setting is so believable as a desperate housewives neighborhood. Even the same cast of the neighbor Dan. Whose isnt what he appears to be.
The twist if you want to call it that that gave the season a brand new arc and different avenue to travel is so much more intriguing and fun with higher stakes added.
Highlight was seeing Timothy O returning home dressed in Marcus clothes. And how about those California sandals he loves to wear. I confess though, as a man he does have nice hair. I have a high standard of hair and his cones close to John Stamos!
Seriously fun fun episdoe and now I'm hooked and going to binge inhale the rest of this season and the second!!!
