- Captain Sean Renard: I had some pretty fond memories here, too.
- Adalind Schade: What were you doing here?
- Captain Sean Renard: Nick and I met here to settle our differences about the key.
- Adalind Schade: Oh. That.
- Captain Sean Renard: Yeah. We both decided it couldn't fall into your hands.
- Nick Burkhardt: When you were working for the Royals.
- Adalind Schade: That was before I had a baby with you... or you.
- Nick Burkhardt: Simpler times.
- Diana: Is that it? I didn't feel anything.
- Captain Sean Renard: Well, that's good!
- Monroe: Yeah, sometimes it's a very good thing not to feel anything.
- Nick Burkhardt: I tried shootin' this guy in his world. It didn't work.
- Hank Griffin: He's in our world now.
- Nick Burkhardt: Let's weapon up.
- Sergeant Wu: As many as we can carry.
- Monroe: What did your friend call Diana?
- Captain Sean Renard: The Shaphat.
- Monroe: Right, and if what she suggests is true, my thinking is Diana's got a lot of clout in this Other Place. She can do some pretty amazing things like appear in places she isn't, and read markings on a cloth that we can't see, she already knew about the Other Place, and she knows something wicked is this way coming...
- Hank Griffin: Look at this. Looks like the skull guy. It's in German, I think.
- Rosalee Calvert: Not modern German. This looks much older... my guess is it's Altak Deutsch.
- Sergeant Wu: You read Altak Deutsch?
- Rosalee Calvert: Nope, but the Internet can.
- Hank Griffin: Nothing about the Other Place, but the Zoroastrians believe there will be a three-thousand-year struggle between good and evil, which ends with a final assault by Azi Dahaka.
- Sergeant Wu: Ragnarok brings a huge flood... ummm... the sky is on fire, and all life gets swallowed by wolves. So I guess if you're a wolf, that's good news.
- Diana: It's not gonna hurt, is it?
- Adalind Schade: Nope.
- Captain Sean Renard: No, not at all. You know, my mother used it on me when I was your age.
- Rosalee Calvert: You prob'ly should do this.
- Adalind Schade: Okay. Okay, here we go. Just think of it as fairy dust.
- Diana: Mom, there's no such thing as fairies.
- Adalind Schade: I forgot.
- Sergeant Wu: This is a lot of dead bats.
- Hank Griffin: And yet, I'm not surprised.
- Sergeant Wu: I don't think a lot could surprise us, after the year we've had.
- Hank Griffin: Year? Try years.
- Sergeant Wu: You wish we'd never known?
- Hank Griffin: Not at all. Unless the real question is, are we crazy and don't even know it?
- Sergeant Wu: I wish I'd never known that.
- Hank Griffin: Wu and I can go to the precinct and see if the Zerstorer came through. I'm sure wherever it was, somebody had to notice.
- Sergeant Wu: I bet he's hard to miss.
- Hank Griffin: How many bodies?
- Sgt. Franco: Are we talking bats or people?
- Sergeant Wu: Uh, let's start with people.
- Sgt. Franco: Two. First one's in the office. Apparently electrocuted but I can't see any downed power lines. And his outfit's a little weird in that sense that he's not wearing one.
- Sergeant Wu: Naked in a gas station. That's a dignified way to go.
- Captain Sean Renard: This is all really interesting, but I don't think it's helping us get to where he is.
- Monroe: I think I know how to do that, but... you're not gonna like it.
- Diana: Is that it? I didn't feel anything.
- Captain Sean Renard: Well that's good!
- Monroe: Yeah, sometimes it's a very good thing not to feel anything.
