Sex & Nudity

  • At the end of the movie. Felix and calhoun were talking to each other about parenting and how to make kids and some words were censored by car noises. We all know what the two were trying to say.

Violence & Gore

  • A dog is swallowed whole by a shark. Not gory but will probably be used as a jumpscare. Later the dog is shown to be alive (along with 2 others) inside the shark's mouth.
  • 2 players' avatars are burned to death by flamethrowers. Nothing is shown but chalk lines where they used to stand. Players are shown afterwards complaining that they have to start over. (Not really that violent, but this is the most "violent" scene in the movie.)
  • A video game character is almost crushed to death by a giant
  • 2 video game characters almost fall to their deaths.
  • In the aftercredits, a bunny is over-fed and explodes. Although this is offscreen a small child screams because of this and children may find this disturbing.
  • The Disney princesses have defense objects to aim at Vanellope. It's stopped when she tells them she too is a princess.
  • An insect is stepped on until it explodes.
  • Pyro shoots game players with a fire gun and they dissapear, then a game over screen is shown, and there is picture of a clown head with a pool of blood around it.
  • An internet character gets crushed by a fake screen thrown by Ralph, she is okay because they're all internet people and not real people.
  • A giant pushpin almost landed on ralph.

Profanity

  • While none in the film itself, a deleted scene featured in the extras section on its home video releases and Disney+ is listed under the name of "Detention Hell."

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Ralph says to Felix at Tappers - I didn't know you drank rootbeer! Felix replies - I do now! (after having just "adopted" 15 teenagers)

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Racing game has lots of explosions, car crashes such as seen in the preview, plus scary clowns, looters, misc. mayhem going on constantly.
  • Slightly darker than the first film but the tone is still very campy, goofy and comedic.
  • A lot darker than the first movie.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A character is knocked unconscious in a crash. She is ok.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The farewell between Ralph and Vanellope towards the end of the film maybe emotional for some viewers and people who watched this after the first movie.
  • There is a virus that Ralph unleashes to try to break a game. The virus looks and moves like a giant black millipede with a glowing eye, and may frighten young children.
  • The virus mentioned earlier creates lots of small Ralphs that combine into one giant monstrous Ralph. This monster might be scary for the younger children.
  • Ralph visits the Dark Web to get a virus for the game Vanellope wants to desert her game for. A subject that isn't deeply delved into but is clearly a very shady place with a couple of signs about identity and credit card theft.
  • The climax may be emotional to some viewers.
  • Thousands of clones of Ralph lumber around disturbingly murmuring and trying to catch Vanellope. Later, they all combine into one gigantic shape of Ralph. Though its shape is cartoonish, the sight of its skin crawling with miniature Ralphs is somewhat disturbing.
  • Ralph's attempt to put Vanellope off wanting to stay in the Slaughter Race game by infecting it with a virus backfires when she falls out with him over it. (In real life, the game wouldn't be considered appropriate for someone of the age that Vanellope is supposed to be, so Ralph's intentions may have some justification in that sense, even if his actions were wrong.)
  • There is a scene in which the giant monster formed by the Ralph clones begins to suffocate the real Ralph, causing Vanelope to become very distressed, screaming "You're gonna kill my friend!".
  • The necklace that Vanelope gave to Ralph is broken in half, and Ralph is sad over it.
  • After the Ralph clones disappear, the real Ralph plummets towards the ground, but is saved by the Disney Princesses.
