There's little action in this episode as it mostly focuses on Bulma trying to operate Cell's time machine. It did make me wonder something about "Dragonball Z". Why didn't they just steal Cell's time machine, go to his timeline and retrieve the devices that deactivate the androids so Cell will revert to his imperfect form and be defeated easily? The reason is that Cell's time machine had broken down. Then why didn't they use the Dragonballs to wish for new devices to deactivate the androids? Maybe they couldn't use them at the time.
This episode also has Future Trunks telling Mai about her version from the future. Now that I think about it, has Future Trunks even ever been directly called Future Trunks? They just say the older Trunks. Whatever, it's nice to see Pilaf and his gang as recurring characters. I guess they're not that good after all. Well, that bit doesn't amount to much. ***
