How heartwarming
ericstevenson13 October 2016
This episode features Nicole acknowledging the fact that she's the most rational person in her entire family. She begins to wonder if she really did make the right decision by marrying Richard. We see her imagine what her life would be like if she took other options. Well, we actually show her a flashback and then have her imagine things in her flashback. A weird way to tell a story, but still nice. What's great is how fast these jokes go by. It's nice to see the writers take another dig at alternative medicine. Instead of her just marrying someone again, she just dies from a lack of real treatment in one theory.

We even get to see Nicole's parents! It's great to learn more about her past. It's even better we learn more about the Watterson family's past! As you might have guessed, we go back to the scenes of Gumball as a toddler from "The Origins". That episode made me wish that it had showed when Anais became a member of the family. And guess what, in this episode we get to see that too! Baby Anais really is adorable and so is this episode for having Nicole, a character enraged by idiocy, realizing that she sincerely loves her family and doesn't care how dysfunctional they are. It's great for such a hilarious show to be heartwarming as well. ****

That part when they showed flashbacks on how the family started. How she met Richard. Normally you wonder, why did Nicole marry someone that seems to have literally no braincells? Well, this episode will explain why. I sobbed at this episode and needed so many tissues. Mainly because I know my mom went through something similar. Left her parents to be with him and started out in poverty and living in a trailer (The only difference is that they had 4 kids and the dad walked out-)

But anyway, I recommend giving this episode a go. It's so heartwarming especially if you've been through something similar

Unspeakably heartfelt and touching

It saddens me when people play into the stereotypes of cartoons not aiming or being able to convey deep mature emotional themes.

I now have this magnificent bundle of joy and heart to direct such people to. Thank you, Nicole.

Best episode it has everything

It has a creative concept with this different choices, funny moments and it's hearthwarming. It has some backstory and it can make you cry. Maybe there are episodes where you laugh more but this is a good combination of everything.

Warning: Spoilers
The episode talks about what would happen if you had not chosen Nicole Richard and the ending of a wonderful episode. I hope this was the last episode of the cartoon instead of the last episode that was neither good nor bad

It send a message to people going through hard times

This episode is a great message to all I watched this while going through a hard time and it made me realize that I shouldn't give up because because love can be the most unexpected and found in the most unexpected places so watch it if you're going through a break up or just feel lonely I absolutely love that a show like gumball would have such a heartwarming episode and it really shows why Richard and Nichol are still together and it also shows why Nichol is so hard on her kids because she wants to give them the life she never had and why she is a very good mother taking care of basically 4 children.

The Best Choices!

I loved this episode! It was amazing and nothing could even replace this episode with its, heartwarming. Episode! The story is very interesting, (SPOILERS AHEAD)

I love the valid story where they meet up in the middle of the forest, and it's pretty funny that Richard managed to get stuck inside of a log, other than that, it's pretty heartwarming, they start developing a friendship and eventually they actually become engaged, it's a lovely story and I recommend it, it is amazing! I love the fact on how Nicole loves her family even if they did something dumb or stupid, she'd still care for them, this is a lovely episode overall, and I recommend it.
