Sex & Nudity

  • A tattoo-covered man's buttocks are seen for several seconds.
  • Main lyrics in a theme song say, "Call me if you wanna get freaky love" and this song doesn't seem to match with the storyline. So it's a bit of a weird lyric for a kids movie.
  • Some humorous suggestiveness about a bird being aggressively attracted to another character as a bird.
  • A bit of rude humor involving a bird's cloaca.

Violence & Gore

  • A lot of fights against villains, mostly fistfights and martial arts since this is a spy movie. There are also lots of technologically advanced weapons used against each other, which is a major theme of the movie.
  • Mild action violence which sometimes results in offscreen injury and implied death, which like going to the hospital.

Profanity

  • "Suck," and some notable unfinished moments of swearing such as "kick our -," "holy s-," and "son of a.." respectively. One moment when one of the main characters actually does drop a stronger expletive, it gets bleeped.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The villain could be seen holding a glass of champagne at one point.
  • Main pigeon is drinking a martini on a yacht.
  • Yakuza take shots from shot glasses while 'gambling'

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many intense scenes involving the main villain, who has burn scars on his face and is part cyborg, controlling intense looking attack drones.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A funny scene where a male character is in bird form and accidentally lays an egg. Then they discover he was also transformed into a "she" which becomes a significant plot point.
  • In a scene where a character transforms into a bird his body is contracting and changing. His hand turns very tiny, and he freaks out looking at it, then he looks inside his pants and freaks out more, implying that the same thing is happening to what is in his pants. It's a quick scene, but little boys will probably pick up on it and talk about it later, so it's good just to be aware of that, to talk to them about what is appropriate to talk about later. In general it's pretty funny.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man is hanging on to a villain who himself is hanging on to an aerial drone from a great height that is part of a mass of similar machines about to commit a mass murder elsewhere. The first man is about to deactivate the machines before they can do the killing, but the villain reminds him that they will both fall to their deaths if he does so. Regardless, the hero puts the villain in a protective cushion device before he deactivates the machines. He falls to certain death, but his friend in his pigeon manages to get a whole flock of real ones to grab the man and bring him safely down.
