As best of the year lists roll out across the internet, TV critics and fans are reflecting on everything they loved about the year in television. From their favorite shows to their favorite performances and even the most shocking moments, nearly every aspect of the small screen is admired — typically, in list form.
But while plenty of lists double up across various websites through a multitude of voices, one list is built collectively and shared immediately: the best TV lines of 2017.
Spearheaded each year by Variety TV Critic Mo Ryan, the annual tradition of honoring the best quotes of the year began early Monday afternoon with the hashtag #BestTVLines2017 and Ryan’s first selection:
“Tell Cersei. I want her to know it was me.” @GameofThrones #BestTVLines2017
Join the annual tradition! Tweet your #BestTVLines2017! @sepinwall, your turn.

“Rick and Morty” is one of the best-looking animated series on TV. As high-concept as these travels through technicolor dreamlands and psychedelic wormholes can get, “Rick and Morty” wouldn’t be what it is without some talented performers bringing the show’s characters to life.
In Season 3, series co-creator Justin Roiland did more of the heavy lifting than ever before (including anchoring an entire episode by his lonesome). But, as usual, this now-finished season also drew on some incredible voice talent for some one-off delights. Some of these guest stars were such a natural fit for the show that it’s surprising it took this long for the show to utilize their talents. (How did two whole seasons go by before a pair of “Community” folks showed up?)

Bea Miller released the first music video from her Chapter Two: Red Ep collection on Thursday for her tune “Like That.”
“I wrote ‘Like That’ on the day when I woke up and thought, ‘I’m done feeling sorry for myself and I’m done letting other people bring me to a point where I think I should,'” Miller, 18, tells People about her inspiration behind the track. “I remember feeling so angry that I had been so sad for so long and literally forced myself to get over it and be a stronger and happier person.

Somewhere between champagne, fireworks and rose petals, it can be easy for Bachelor and Bachelorette couples to get wrapped up in the jet-setting, over-the-top whirlwind of a love story that the show provides. Keeping that love alive once the cameras turn off? That’s a much taller order.
This season’s Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher – who is engaged to Jordan Rodgers, the contestant she chose at the end of the show – has made it clear that she’s in this forever. In a new interview with People, Fletcher admits that she can’t stop fantasizing about their wedding day, which will...

The first of many Destiny 2 trailers have finally arrived! Come inside and find out what all is going on with the Guardians of The Last City!
War is upon us, Guardian! The Cabal have attacked The Last City and the Citadel is a pile of rubble. With morale down, we need a leader to inspire us all! Let Commander Zavala (Lance Reddick) and Cayde-6 (Nathan Fillion) take the stage and rally the troops in the first trailer for Destiny 2!
I absolutely love this trailer and everything it represents. The teaser of Cayde-6 telling his story, at the worst possible time, was entertaining and gave us hope that Bungie was adding more character development. This trailer tells me that Bungie and Activision are fully embracing their underutilized characters. By doing this, it's creating a reason for gamers to throw down money to buy the sequel to the ever-updating game.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is less than three weeks away! The first of many non saga / non Skywalker focused films is almost here. Rogue One originally had Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat attached. But due to the complications of reshoots, he was unable to follow the films production to its extended timeline due to other previous obligations. Just three months out, the movie had no composer. Michael Giacchino, another Oscar winning composer, was brought in super late as in he only had four weeks to score Rogue One.
Nothing that Desplat had already written was used. Giacchino started from scratch. In my other life as a designer and web developer I've been brought in late on projects. Trying to get into the headspace of someone else can be really hard, and it's a lot easier to start from scratch.

The latest episode of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend leaves almost every character in a state of flux...
This review contains spoilers.
See related Marvel Studios: how long is left on everyone’s contracts?
2.3 All Signs Point To Josh...Or Is It Josh's Friend?
Are you Team Josh or Team Greg? If you’re invested in Rebecca choosing either of them, you were in for a nasty surprise in this episode. Though it might’ve been just about possible to watch most of season one like a standard romcom, season two isn’t pulling any of its punches. Over the course of this week’s episode, it’s been made pretty clear that the only romance narrative here is entirely inside Rebecca’s head, and none of it can stand up to reality.
The first of many bubbles to get burst was Rebecca’s polyamory fantasy. The episode opened...
