ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise 2023 cast will be announced before Bachelor Nation fans know it. Unfortunately, those hoping to see Peter Weber hit the beach will likely feel disappointed. Rumors suggest Weber isn’t joining the new cast because he might be dating Davia Esther Bunch from Zach Shallcross’ season of The Bachelor.

Peter Weber likely isn’t joining the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ 2023 cast due to new dating rumors
Peter Weber, better known as Pilot Pete, got his start on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. He then went on to have one of the messiest seasons of The Bachelor in history. Weber got engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss despite falling in love with Maddie Prewett. He then pursued a relationship with Prewett after the show. When that didn’t work, he pursued an on-and-off relationship with Kelley Flanagan for years. They officially broke off the romance in May...

As the big broadcast networks start to air their summer slate, it’s worth taking a look back on this last year of television. Every network likes to manipulate the math so they can claim they’re the best, especially during upfronts week. But what happens when you level the playing field?
Using the end-of-season ratings for each eligible show, TheWrap determined which network truly won primetime during the 2022-2023 season. A couple of notes on methodology: These numbers only took into account live-plus-same day viewing numbers for series that aired between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. and don’t include ratings from sporting events or local programming. They also only look at a very limited timeframe, beginning with the first network premiere of the season and ending with the last episode of a major primetime show
With those guidelines in mind, we then looked at two major parameters to...

Years after JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers were swept into a whirlwind romance on “The Bachelorette,” the couple is turning their attention to helping divorcees find their second chance at love on “The Big D,” whose unfiltered setting leaves little to be discovered after the cameras turn off.
“There’s no fooling people in this scenario in this sort of situation,” Fletcher told TheWrap in a recent interview. “You dive in headfirst; you uncover all the good, the bad, the ugly; you feel it out … and you see that happen a lot with so many different people on the show.”
In the reality dating show, which premiered Wednesday on USA, Fletcher and Rodgers host recent divorcees looking for their lifelong partner in paradise. There’s a twist, though, as their exes are along for the ride. Naturally, chaos arises when the group shares a house and contestants can’t hide...

Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” Hulu’s “The Kardashians” and TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” are among the 45 reality programs hoping to nab their first Emmy nominations. This is down from the previous three years, which had 65, 48 and 44 submissions, respectively.
Nomination voting opened on Thursday to members of the Television Academy, with the three juggernaut-rated shows vying for consideration in the outstanding unstructured reality series category.

“Vanderpump” is coming off its biggest season yet after star Tom Sandoval was revealed to be cheating on his partner of nine years, Ariana Madix (with her best friend and fellow co-star Raquel Leviss). Dubbed on social media as “#Scandoval,” the talk surrounding the show’s 10th season has been electrifying, adding another massive hit for the Bravo network, which also steers franchise hits like “Real Housewives” and “Below Deck.

Old friends Natasha Lyonne and Melanie Lynskey have lots to reminisce about, having first forged a bond during the filming of the 1999 Kiss-inspired movie “Detroit Rock City.” But their most memorable on-screen pairing was in another movie that premiered that year — director Jamie Babbit’s queer cult classic “But I’m a Cheerleader.”
A quarter century into their friendship, Lynskey and Lyonne appreciate that both of their careers are peaking now that they’re in their 40s. On Showtime’s “Yellowjackets,” Lynskey plays Shauna, a reckless New Jersey housewife traumatized by her experiences in the wilderness as a teenager. In the Peacock howdunit “Poker Face,” Lyonne portrays human lie-detector Charlie Cale, who solves crimes as she traverses the country while on the run.
Natasha Lyonne: Welcome to my soundstage. I told you I bought one.
Melanie Lynskey: I was surprised at that choice, but it’s beautiful.

Warner Bros. International Television Production (Wbitvp) has decided to fold its production arm in Denmark and centralize its Scandinavian operations out of Sweden.
Under the reorganization, the company’s future TV production for Denmark, such as “The Bachelor,” will be managed out of Stockholm in Sweden under the leadership of Johan Idering, managing director of Wbitvp Sweden. As such, Fredrik Hillerbrand, managing director of Wbitvp Denmark will step down in the coming months. The news was first reported by Deadline.
Besides Hillerbrand’s exit, the company has warned that “some roles will be impacted.” Warner Bros. had previously relocated its Norwegian operations in Sweden.
Warner Bros. Discovery said the “difficult decision” was made against an “incredibly challenging backdrop of ongoing uncertainty in the Danish media market and the rising costs of content creation.”
Ronald Goes, EVP and head of Warner Bros. International Television Production, said “this has not been an easy decision for the company,...

Exclusive: Warner Bros Discovery is closing its Danish production arm, we’ve learned.
Warner Bros International Television Production Denmark will effectively shutter and be consolidated into Wbd’s Swedish production base in Stockholm. We understand a number of roles will be impacted. Wbitvp Denmark has a staff in the double digits, though it’s not yet known how many posts will go.
Fredrik Hillerbrand, Managing Director of Wbitvp Denmark, will exit in coming months after overseeing a transition. Johan Idering, Managing Director of Wbitvp Sweden, will assume responsibility for Denmark, adding to his duties in Sweden and Norway.
A business review is underway to manage the situation. Some roles will certainly go but Wbitvp is looking to retain staff were possible.
Despite a physical exit from the local market, ratings-winning shows such as TV2’s reality series The Bachelor will be safeguarded. We hear that Wbd is holding talks with...

USA’s Temptation Island Season 5 is here, and fans can’t wait to see if the four couples last after they meet and connect with the singles. Like all reality TV dating shows, the contestants have to follow rules. Here are the Temptation Island rules that fans never knew existed.
‘Temptation Island’ has rules for contestants regarding changing their hair
The Temptation Island Season 5 stars have to follow strict rules when it comes to changing their hair. While competitors are allowed to play around with their hairstyle, they can’t cut or dye their hair once they’re cast for the show.
“We like for them to have their hair the same color throughout shooting to maintain continuity,” showrunner Trifari Williams explained to USA.
When it comes to styling their hair, cast members can choose to either style it themselves or have hair and makeup artist Melissa D’ Angelo style it for them.

James Marsden Wants to See ‘Jury Duty’ Castmate Ronald Gladden Lead a ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ Remake
Since “Jury Duty” debuted on Amazon Freevee in April, love has poured in for the hidden camera comedy — in particular for its do-gooder hero Ronald Gladden, who was the only person on the show not to know the whole court case was fake and the jurors were actors. Though Gladden was initially in shock when he learned the truth, he’s since said he would be interested in expanding his on-screen career to other projects — and castmate James Marsden has one in mind for his newfound friend.
“I’d like to see Ronald in a remake of the ‘Smokey and the Bandit’ franchise,” Marsden told TheWrap in a recent interview. “I’d love to see him grow a mustache and play the Burt Reynolds role. I think he’d be good in that.”

Content from two of Hollywood’s most recognizable brands is coming to Freevee.
Freevee, the Amazon-owned free ad-supported streaming service, is launching 33 new Fast channels through deals with Warner Bros. Discovery and MGM.
The deal includes 12 MGM-branded channels, including dedicated channels for films and shows like The Pink Panther, Stargate, Green Acres and The Outer Limits, as well as MGM-branded channels like “MGM Presents: Action” and “MGM Presents: Sci Fi.”
Amazon owns MGM, having acquired the studio last year.
At the same time, Freevee will launch 11 channels leaning into Discovery and Wbd studio content. Based on the description from Freevee, it sounds like it will focus heavily on unscripted fare, with the streamer highlighting Cake Boss, Extreme Couponing, Say Yes to the Dress and Ghost Brothers as shows becoming available on the platform.
