Exclusive: Maxim Swinton (Halston) has joined the cast of Raymond and Ray, writer-director Rodrigo García’s (Four Good Days) film for Apple Studios.
He joins an ensemble that includes Ewan McGregor, Ethan Hawke, Maribel Verdú and Sophie Okonedo, as previously announced.
The film currently in production in Virginia centers on Raymond (McGregor) and Ray (Hawke), half-brothers who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father. Somehow, they still each have a sense of humor, and his funeral is a chance for them to reinvent themselves. There’s anger, there’s pain, there’s folly, there might be love, and there’s definitely grave-digging.
Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón is producing with Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird Pictures, with Gabriela Rodriguez and Shea Kammer serving as EPs.
Swinton recently portrayed a younger version of McGregor’s fashion designer Halston in Netflix’s Emmy-winning miniseries of the same name. The...

Stars: Jeff Ayars, Drew Beckas, Riggsby Lane, Simone Policano, Omer Rosen | Written by Omri Doran, Robert Harmon | Directed by Omri Dorani
Directed by, and based on the story by Omri Dorani (How to Get Girls) and written by Rob Harmon (Cosmos), This is Our Home is a low-budget psycho-horror about a struggling couple who head out on a weekend break, but have everything turned upside down when a child shows up at the door in the middle of the night with a big revelation that he is their son.
Dealing with psychology of relationship, a crumbling wall of a marriage in tatters, the film does a solid job of introducing the characters and bringing in a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere pretty early on. The tale of a couple attempting to save what is left of their relationship is done well, with damn fine work from the actors. Jeff Ayars plays...

We have a list of the new Hulu movies and shows arriving in October 2018.
Happy Huluween!
Hulu is blessed to have a name that sounds roughly enough like "Hallow." That means it's basically honor-bound to bring the heat for Halloween. Thankfully for the October 2018 new releases, Hulu is bringing us the spookies that we need. The Blair Witch Project, The Others, and Child's Play all arrive this month. And if you're looking for some more wholesome creepies, The Nightmare Before Christmas should do. And if that weren't enough, Hulu is debuting its own horror show - anthology series Into the Dark.
For those shamefully unable to get into the Halloween spirit, Hulu is bringing in some other fun film options. Galaxy Quest, Music and Lyrics, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective should help out with that.
Then of course, are the usual and typically deep TV offerings.
