This episode features Anais trying to find Daisy Donkey and using her intelligence to find out where she went. It turns out that every one of her predictions is true and everything happens the exact same way she wanted it. I admit that it was easy to tell that Darwin was the one who put the doll in the trash. I have seen the noir genre parodied a lot of times before. There's this Newgrounds series called "Nwar" that does it perfectly. Some of the jokes were a tad predictable.
With all that being said, this is still fun to watch. It's mostly because it's rare we get an episode that's told entirely from Anais' point of view. While not as fun a character as Gumball, she is still very entertaining and should probably get more screen time. I really loved the visuals, especially with how she was haunted by the loss of Daisy Donkey. I thought the doll would come to life like she did in that horrifying part in "The Night". It would have been cool, but this still works out pretty well. The environment of the series is as fun to look at as ever. ***
