Natasha Margolis who played Fiona, the coroner's daughter, became a last minute cast member after the actor who committed to the role fell ill the very morning of the first filming day requiring the Fiona character. Up against the wall and not willing to forfeit the expenses incurred in setting up the filming day -- and with 8AM closing-in, the director scoured Montreal's trendy Mont-Royal cafes searching for a young lady to fit the bill. As fate would have it, Natasha strolled past on the sidewalk and within a few minutes, Liam Kiernan had found the actor who poseesed the ability to deliver character essence - the only snafu was that she had a prominent Australian accent and the role required a Parisian French lilt in the voice. With Natasha on her way to China within the week, ADR voice-over was the only solution to rectify the French accent conundrum.
