I wanted to see a Swedish made movie so I checked my streaming service. Oh boy was this a huge disappointment. I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer that all about this "movie" resembles at best an ambitious high school project.
There's too much to mention about going in to what actually lacks in this project. Just the sentence "everything is just, just so out of place" sums it up.
It just could have stopped here, but to be honest I saw some small glimpses of quality sneaked in for a second or two and some fiddle to break in a touch of Dogm Influence.
Also being able to finish off a full length flick is a proof that the director holds the quality for his development further in to his career.
The Idea is not all in the bin so time will tell how well this trial and error has served the future of the director.

So, there are groups in society that have the odds stacked against them. However hard they try to stay on the straight and narrow - fate and circumstance will lead them down a path of crime.
The statement bares validity and raises cause for concern. With that comes an opportunity for decent filmmaking. An opportunity that was totally and utterly wasted.
The potential of weaving a fabric from dysfunctional aspects of society and conveying an important message is railroaded by an; exaggerated, improbable and borderline impossible chain of events.
Pushing the boundaries of the probable has the upside of being able to create good drama - another opportunity that was missed.
All in all; Den Enda Vägen mostly resembles a high school project. High school is also where it may end up - as an example... of how not to make film.

I am seriously impressed after finishing this movie. The acting is potent, the story is complex and the narrative flows smoothly. The cast really gives it their all, and it shows. I loved the sound design as well. However, the thing I am most impressed with is how the makers behind the project weaved a complex issue into the overarching narrative. Visually crackling and action packed, this is one movie that made quite a mark on me.

I havent written a review before but seeing the negative reception here, I was compelled to write one. The film is great and the central conflict at the core of the film is both believable and heartfelt. In addition, the flashy visuals and expertly paced action only adds to the appeal of the film. I ended up being so impressed by the film that I recommended it to all of my friends.

This film is a fast paced thrill ride from start to end. Loved the action, loved the characters and loved everything in between. From a technical standpoint, the film is sound; its visuals are crisp and its sound design is better than most films released today. The characters are not mere pawns in the service of the story; they are genuine parts of the narrative and go through character development to make us care about them. I would recommend the film to everyone.
