How the Other Half Lives
Hitchcoc31 May 2019
With Frank being honorable, the only other thing that this has going for it is Annalise getting to see what it is like to be powerless. She seems to have given up at this point. Bonnie could use her sharp mind in coming up with a strategy. Wes is dead and she has been betrayed by someone, or with all her enemies, she could simply being targeted for revenge. The problem with that is it really needs to be someone we know. Frank is a vile killer, a sociopath, who has all this angst. He is there to do evil whenever it is necessary. He has this stash of money he can draw on when he needs to. Once again, the last scene is quite gripping and when this aired, people had to wait for the Christmas season to get past the reruns and back to the story.

Quite an Emotional episode

Warning: Spoilers
For those who were expecting an episode similar to that of the season 3 winter finale, that was not possible at all because of the tragic revelation made that Wes Gibbins was dead. This episode was very befitting and very necessary following what happened. I think what the show creator and writer(Pete Nowalk) said about this death changing the DNA and the caliber of the show is exactly what will happen following Wes death because the Keating 4(sounds really weird by the way) were shown to be pretty shaken off about the incident, well that's of course except Connor walsh; who was basically acting like a jerk(which is totally realistic considering the kind of character he is and his relationship with Wes) for most of the episode resulting in him receiving well deserved punches from Asher. The episode also shows HTGAWM exploring new territory again with annalise with her jail time and her cellmates( some OITNB stuffs! lol!). The episode also shows the keating 4 including annalise in their individual scenes with Wes some time much earlier before his death. I really loved these scenes. All in all it was a wonderful episode and proper way to kick start the remaining half of the season. The only area that was flat for me was frank going to the police to say he did it. He obviously didn't and I don't know if that was his own misguided attempt to please laurel or something like that but seriously he should get out of the way! BTW: THE BABY IS FOR WES!
