- An unnamed high school male 12th grade loser (Colton Shires) prepares a video envisioning the day after he has armed himself, shot up the school, and becomes famous. The young male is bullied at school. He is knocked down and his homework is stolen. He opens his locker to find dozens of sticky note drawings of penises. Later, his head is repeatedly dunked in the toilet by good looking wealthy athlete Dawson Christopher (Austin Brook). The boy's parents are also going through a divorce and he overhears his mother comment on the phone that she never wanted a son with so many problems. The 12th grader is always accompanied by Rage (Erik Reedy), the personification of his inner voice who often goads him into action.
One day, a new student, Anna (Katie Liz Robbins), is introduced to the class. She is the daughter of the deputy mayor. The young man thinks she is way out of his league. Still, she is friendly and talks to him seeking help with her algebra. She made school less of a living hell for the young man until he finds out she and Dawson are dating. He tries to commit suicide by taking a handful of pills as Rage challenges him, but he wakes up the next morning. His inner voice continues to antagonize him saying he cannot even name one person who cares about him. Rage convinces him that life is not fair. He gives the 12th grader a handgun which Rage ensures makes everyone equal. The 12th grader begins to exercise and improve his aim with the weapon.
One day the student has taken the gun to school. He is near his breaking point. When being bullied out of his seat in the classroom, a gunshot is heard. Everyone races for cover. Armani (Joe O'Dell) enters carrying a gun and being streamed to video by one of his several accomplices. The groups intent is to kidnap Dawson and Anna and demand a million dollars ransom. Armani shoots the teacher when he refuses to identify Dawson and Anna. After Dawson and Anna are lead away, the 12th grade loser turns hero, grabs his gun from his backpack, and shoots the gunman that remained with them in the classroom.
He races out of the room and shoots two other gunmen that protect the stairs to the roof and frees Dawson and Anna cutting them loose with his knife. Despite his action, Dawson still calls him a freak. Anna defends the hero while Armani phones in his ransom demand. Rage tells the hero that Dawson and Anna do not deserve to be defended, Still, the hero goes up the stairs and exchange gun shots with Armani until they are both out of ammunition. The leap at each other and fight. Armani gets the better of the young man and begins strangling the hero. Anna yells the police are here. This distracts Armani enough that the hero pulls his knife and stabs Armani. Armani is laughing as he dies because his video is online and he is finally different from everyone else. The hero takes Dawson's cigarettes from his pocket and has a smoke.
The hero concludes this is his story. Though he is not proud of it, he says he could get used to how he is being treated. A newspaper headline declares hero 12th grader foiled a crime. 6*
