When I started watching season 3 I forgot to record the season opener, so I started season 3 watching episode 2. I was only able to finally watch the season 3 opener when it was screened on a flight, after I had watched the rest of season 3! Season 3 was a bit uneven, but I must say season 3, ep 1, "Coming from America" was top-rate Fresh off the Boat big time.
I had to hold back my laughter on the flight, lest I be deemed to cause a "disturbance" (you know these US airlines and how paranoid and flight-attendant-uppity they can be if you know what I mean). Anyway, I loved the send-up of the Taiwanese commercial (the director of the commercial was played by Ang Lee's son), also he Nike fantasy sequence, and the appearance of Ken Jeong.
I'm thrilled Fresh off the Boat has been renewed for season 4, and hopefully it can continue until syndication.
