This episode of Best Friends Whenever shows that this series still has a lot of potential, and can give us a variety of unique and hilarious episodes. I don't understand why this show is criticized so much when it can produce episodes just like this! This episode saw Cyd and Shelby time travel back to their 6th grade dance. It was full of funny twists and great dialogue, and I believe everyone could enjoy it. The episode was smart and unique because it put the characters in a situation that I have never seen on any other show. It is also a great influence for kids as it teaches them to be themselves. I think the humour is hilarious, and I think everyone should watch this show. If the producers can keep the episode quality at this high standard, this show could go a very long way! I am looking forward to see what other fresh episodes Best Friends Whenever has to offer!

Totally agree with the other reviewer. This episode had a good message, good dialogue, and good humor. It taught a good message for kids to just be themselves. It was a high quality episode that is probably overlooked by many critics.
It's great for kids and even teenagers!
Sometimes I feel like people harshly criticize shows based on the first or second episode and don't even bother to give it a second chance.
Hence the show getting a bad rating. I hope this show stays on air for a lot longer because it has a whole lot of potential that is kind of rare on Disney Channel shows these days.
