They used mostly instruments that were dominant in the Renaissance, but found new ways to push those instruments, like extending the range through midi. It was an interpretive take on the war theme, war hasn't changed, it has only gotten newer technology.
SHAKESPEARE DEVICES USED:
A unique piece of modernized classic art that plays as a simple film.
Follows the traditional 5 Act structure like a Shakespeare play, instead of a film 3 Act structure. It also incorporates all the main play components that Shakespeare used.
SC11 Tableaux (and all of the Transitions are in tableaux)
SC61 Soliloquy
SC75 Denouement
SC76 Teichoscopy (also peppered throughout the film as the POV of the Pred pilot)
To help some Special Operations wounded warriors make a film, & to gain experience for them to transition into media jobs after retirement.
This film is done in conjunction with the 501(c)(3) charity DarkHorse Benefits, to help veterans gain experience for the transition into second careers.
A modern adaptation of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern from Shakespeare's Hamlet. A story about soldiers asked to carry out questionable orders, in the midst of tumultuous political times. (Oddly relevant seeing it was written over 400 years ago.)
