Warning: Spoilers
Well the title "Madonna: Ghosttown" says it all about these 5.5 minutes. This is Madonna's music video for the song Ghosttown from 2015, so certainly one of her most recent efforts. And while it is perhaps not among her most memorable or best efforts, it is still miles ahead compared to what many pop starlets are getting out these days *cough* Rihanna *cough* Nicki Minaj *cough* Even as she approaches 60, Madonna shows us how it's done. It's a catchy song I thing and a pretty stylish video thanks to the contributions of legendary music video director Jonas Åkerlund from Sweden. Madonna plays the central character herself and she is joined by Oscar-nominated African-American actor Terrence Howard. The two have decent chemistry. Overall, you may not find greatness in here, but you will also not find weakness. It's a good achievement from the visual and audible perspective and after checking this one out, I am not surprised Madonna has inspired generations for decades. I give Ghosttown a thumbs-up for sure. The only minor thing I disliked were the nuclear attacks references very early on that were very much on the spectacular, but pointless side and pretty unnecessary.
