- TriviaV.M. Varga's (David Thewlis) hatred for fat people and belief they have no self-control, revealed during his rant about Sy's (Michael Stuhlbarg) overweight wife, offers a partial explanation for the bulimia he suffers from, as seen previously.
- GoofsNikki attempts to blackmail Sy and Emmit by demanding $200,000 to tell Emmit's wife the truth about the fabricated sex tape. Being that she and Emmit had been married many years, his wife would have had to know about Ray and his resemblance to Emmit, and therefore Emmit or Sy could have explained the tape on their own.

Fargo: S3E5 "The House of Special Purpose" Review - King Cadmium
Nikki and Ray's retaliation has consequences for Emmit. Meanwhile, Gloria and Winnie start connecting the dots.
What I Liked:
The cinematography is solid, and each scene perfectly implements its well-crafted and memorable music score. On top of that, each actor gives a strong performance.
V. M. Varga is a terrific character, played wonderfully by David Thewlis, stealing every scene he appears. I can't wait to see how his plans unfold.
What I Disliked:
Moe Dammick seems more like a foil for Gloria than an actual character. Why is he trying so hard to impede and undermine her investigation?
Overall:
Fargo delivers another high-quality episode in a mostly solid season to this point. One can only surmise this season will continue to improve.
