Moe Nishinosono tells her mentor Souhei Saikawa that she interviewed with Dr. Shiki Magata, who is a genius but killed her own parents when she was 14.
Saikawa, Moe and the institute's staff are deeply shocked by appearing Shiki's body without arms and legs on an electric kitchen cart from her room. Meanwhile, the director Shindo arrives the institute with Shiki's sister Mirai.
Saikawa talks with Mirai, and learns that Shiki had a sharp mind. With the help of the staff, Moe experiences a device that allows her to visualize the thoughts in her own brain.
Moe was finally able to regain the memories that she had lost in the shock of her parent's death. The institute's staff reset the system which has kept causing trouble since the day the murder occurred.
