- Two brothers who are in South Africa visiting relatives disappear. Later one of them turns up dead with some strange markings on him. So the team is sent to find the other brother. They arrive and are told they will be working with a South African profiler whom Jack knows and who works differently. They think they are dealing with a gang till some other people turn up dead with the same markings they think they should focus on other motives and suspects. When Monty talks to the boys parents who are from South Africa, the father doesn't say much especially when they are told who are the other people who were killed. The ritual murder MO fits several killings. They all link to a street gang-dominated quarter of JIhannesburg. The local police's general Yazee Zwane cooperates but expects Jack to team up again with lunatic 'profiler' Ananda Doshi, who 'talks to the death spiritually'. All victims, including locals, turn out to be kin, although most ignore so.
