In 1940, after the Civil War ended, the Falangists, military and monarchists are immersed in a new and relentless conflict: the struggle for power, in which rivalries and disputes follow one another in a New Regime, staggering even in the delicate situation European war. In this complex environment two prominent names of high society feel irremediably attracted to a sumptuous party: Ramón Serrano Súñer, seductive and mysterious Foreign Minister, and the beautiful and impetuous Marquesa de Llanzol. At that moment, both ignore that they will face the most difficult war of all: the one that they will have to fight against the vigilant and puritanical society of the time to be able to love each other.
