A well paced indie kind of story for exquisite viewers
I loved it. It's an interesting friendship story with splendid characters who portray both characteristics of an indie film: raw inspirational settings and original profiles. It's an uncommon but unconventional subject for a latin film.
There is only one cool thing about this movie: the location
I do not know who thought this movie was a good idea, it is terrible. It does not have a good story, it does not have a good cast, it does not have great music, the only cool thing about this movie are the locations, awesome Mexican paradises.
Being honest I just went to the cinema cause this was a Mexican movie so I wanted to help the cinema industry in the country but how can we support it if you deliver really poor content like this.
I do not know who your target was but certainly it was not made for cinema lovers. Also the movie is tagged as Sci-Fi, come on ... maybe it just for the title because in the movie everything is a joke.
I am really disappointed of this movie, sad but true.

Comedy that brings heavy thoughts to bare
I was browsing new cable TV features and ran across this gem.
I got fascinated by its story and good filming and cinematography and likeable characters. I won't spoil it but loved the unconventional ending that really tops it all off.
I was surprised at so few reviews so I had to stick with it to fill in a Gap good or bad but definitely good! I will definitely catch it again with my Latina wife who is usually skeptical of both sci-fi and Mexican movies. I will update this review when I get her reaction to the entire thing.
I will have to look for more products by the principals and director.

Amazing film, refreshing, captivating
This film is definitely different than most Mexican films, in the best way.
It is not a typical romantic comedy or a full sci-fi, or a drama, but a mixture of everything and even involving a huge psychological factor- the loss of reality and its (surprisingly) positive effects in a world in extreme need of novelty, hope and fiction.
This film is definitely for a more knowledgeable and philosophical audience than most.
It is genius the way they portray the characters and leave it to the expectation to decide how much is real and how much is not.
This road trip merged with reality magic film shows different aspects to ponder about such as life and death, love, friendship and, most importantly, the importance of living in the present.
Photography is impressive, natural lighting prevailing throughout the whole film.
The soundtrack is pure gold as well, meaningful yet laid back, showing the mood in each moment of the film.
Definitely would do a standing ovation to the actor who plays Mark. If you happen to know someone who is rather spacey (no pun intended) and/or somewhat neurodivergent, then you will know his acting is right on point.
An excellent movie to watch when you need to remember to live the moment and the magic of hope.
