Nathan helps a sporting goods store by endorsing kids, hoping that one of them will become a professional athlete. He scouts youth leagues and brings his findings to an age progression specialist, who gives him predictions on who will excel in sports. He brings in his top prospects for an interview, only to find out he wants to be an astronaut and not a soccer player. He gets his Santa impersonator to pretend to be an astronaut, sharing his horror stories from space. The boy changes his mind, saying he wants to play soccer. Nathan will follow up in 10-15 years to see if any of his players go pro.
Nathan helps an antique shop with sales by making them open 24 hours a day. His plan is to use the nearby bars to exploit the "you break it, you buy it" policy. He meets a guy willing to talk at the bar. Nathan gets him drunk while staying sober and tells him about a costume party. Nathan gives him a fat suit and they walk by the antique shop. Lured by free pizza, he tries squeezing through the isle, but breaks many items. The owner added up the damage and made a large sale.
Both of these are good ideas, but not very idealistic in terms of business. Sponsoring children before they go pro is a long term investment, that likely won't pay off. Breaking antiques in order to get a sale isn't an ideal way make money. Nathan is really caught off guard when he hears about the threesomes this guy and his brother have. Nathan wishes he had someone as close to him as they are.
