The former golden boy of Mlw opened the show in the ring with a microphone, berating the Miami crowd and running down the Mlw locker room. Rush didn’t want to hear it, came to the ring, told Swerve off and we had our opening bout. Strickland attacked at the bell and had the upper hand early on. But the tide turned when the action went to the outside, where Rush threw “Swerve” through a set of locked double doors and blasted him with a trash can. While Strickland attempted to make a couple comebacks, in the end it was a Rush Driver that spelled the end for “Swerve.
