Typical NCIS NO
The previous reviewers opinion is tainted in one resepect: Kate Beahan's character added spice to the plot. And writing. And acting. Which was badly needed.
Similarly to the FBI stepping in, NCIS NO suffers from comic book writing and acting. Constantly, we see Pride's team stepping outside of protocol and fighting other agencies like FBI for ownership of a case.
When Bakula disarmed Kate Beahan, this is a perfect example of Pride's over reacting and Bakula's over acting. On another scene together, he removes her from case, a power move, because he didn't like her style.
Bakula's acting de graded as seasons went on. He was reading his cue cards and adding in facial contortions and waving his hands and never forget his constant pacing while talking. This is good character acting?
Later seasons without Zoe McClellan were worse. The addiction of Vanessa Fortilo was not a good one. She too read her lines. Interrupted everyone.
Where was Director Vance? He had no leash on NO.
I'm surprised NO lasted 9 seasons.
