I am quite surprised not more reviews have been written about this episode. This is an outright tribute to the Star Trek original series episode, "Mirror,Mirror." To properly give this review, I would have to chock it full of spoilers. In fact, since both Star Trek "TOS" and this series are both now on Paramount+, one should watch the Star Trek episode 1st to fully appreciate this episode. That is season 2, episode 4 of TOS. Anyway, right when I heard the name of the band, the lightning storm, the badges and sashes, I knew I was in for a treat. I do not believe children could fully appreciate this episode as adults. I doubt even the hardest core Trekkies that were born much later than the original Star Trek episode aired or after the movies started coming out couldn't appreciate this as much as someone that saw it originally or in first syndication. This is, step for step, a smile maker. Dan Snyder did a class act job with this episode. The rest of Henry Danger is fun for the whole family and there are always little shout outs to famous products, other series, sayings, genres, etc. But, none have been so bold and brazen yet did an original so perfect and endearing. Now, as it sits, you don't have to be a fan of Star Trek to enjoy this Henry Danger epusode. It still would get a 10 star from me. My children, wife and I really like the series. That I saw the Star Trek episode when it was in syndication before all the Trekkie craze started just made it so much more enjoyable to me. I don't think I have ever seen anything done like this to such perfection. In fact, it was done so well, it should be rated in the top 30 Star Trek episodes including TOS series. It would be #1 not including TOS. So, watch with the whole family. This is a crowd pleaser for all.
