A rip-roaring start to the second season!

Season 2 ep 1.... No spoilers, read with impunity!

After a thoroughly satisfying final episode to the first season storyline, I was a little apprehensive moving the story on into the traditionally difficult, sophomore period.

Rest assured, any fears are unfounded. In this decidedly character driven opus, the characters' three dimensionality remains steadfastly, foremost and central!

Again in Season 2, CG and Technology are where it belong in any top-of-the-class Science- Fiction: as a subtle, almost unnoticeable backdrop to the speculative future situation of humanity on display...

In fact there is one point where new technology rears its head and John Jacobis actually says he's aroused! It's this sort of allusion to the grandeur of technology yet not relying on it for the main plot that is the antithesis of poor -as I call it- technology-fiction.

Moral dilemmas, politics, scheming and secrets...

Oh baby, I have a feeling this season is going to be a doozy!
