When Harvey and Mike are in a bar drinking, Mike has to leave and meet Rachel. The conversation just prior as Mike starts to leave is about a reference in a meeting that Harvey made poking fun at Daniel Hardman. It was a quote from a movie. Mike was a little perturbed at the unprofessional attitude of Harvey, and was poking fun at him for doing so. So as Mike gets up to leave, he turns to the waitress and says, "Cut him off if he starts making references to Welcome Back, Kotter (1975)". Well Gabriel Macht is quoted as crediting John Travolta, who was Vinnie Barbarino on Welcome back Kotter, as an "invaluable" teacher about how to act and how to be on a film set.
