This really was hard work.
Nefertiti suggests that Rembrandt and van Gogh socialise with some local Brits, so they head to a pub.
Oh my days, I can't believe I managed to get through this episode without hurling the remote control at the TV, this third episode, I can't lie, it's trash, absolute garbage.
It's getting more and more offensive, nobody is excluded, we even have a pub full of Nazis, you honestly couldn't make this stuff up.
There are elements of Spike Milligan's madcap humour, the trouble is, it's just not funny.
The jokes don't land at all, the dialogue is laboured, unfunny and repetitive. The only saving grace was the appearance of comedy actress Pamela Cundall, she did at least try to deliver a few laughs.
What is going on with all of these sell by date jokes on food, they weren't funny first time round, and by this stage they've just become irritating.
2.5/10.
