Posting this image 5 years after the event, I clearly remember that this scene was entirely rigged in roughly 8 minutes (across all departments) at roughly 10 minutes notice and shot in no more than 17 minutes (3 setups). That sounds absolutely ridiculous - which, of course, it is - but it still looks absolutely fantastic on the big screen (I've seen it twice on the silver screen).
