The Now You See Me movie franchise, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco, introduced fans to some wonderful magic tricks, incorporating sleight of hand, masterful deception, and a play on elements in our surroundings. These tricks, clubbed with detailed heist plans, made Now You See Me one of the most loved film franchises of recent times.
Jesse Eisenberg, who is known for his roles in films like Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Social Network, surprised the audience with a new avatar in Now You See Me. While some might argue that his character reeked of a similar ‘nasal-sounding-snobby-man’ trait as his previous roles, the newness of Danny came with his playing card flourish.

A new (and free) point-and-click adventure from Rusty Lake is more than just a celebration of the previous decade of work. In fact, it’s not only a short trip through what makes Rusty Lake great, but it also includes a hidden achievement that points to the next game in the Cube Escape series, Servant of the Lake. Lionsgate has released the first trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the third movie in its magic-fueled heist franchise. The trailer is packed with flashy illusions, fast cuts, and a new generation of performers. But three movies in, it’s worth asking whether the magic act has truly mastered the art of the con.
With its latest installment on the horizon, the movie series continues to dazzle with spectacle yet struggles to deliver the clever precision that defines the genre’s best. If Now You See Me is truly about heists, it might be time the franchise took a few notes from the Ocean’s movie series, where clever antics make the magic real.

Ahead of the film’s November launch, here’s the first trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, aka Now You See Me 3.
After taking what seemed like an age to finally come together, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is coming this year, and now we have a trailer to prove it. The film reunites Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman, while joining the action this time are Justice Smith, Rosamund Pike and Ariana Greenblatt.
It looks like we’ve got an echo of Jurassic Park: Dominion's set-up here with both a legacy team – The Four Horsemen – and a new team of young magicians also making a name for themselves using illusion-based trickery.
The trailer suggests that Eisenberg’s character seems estranged from his former crew , and is instead working with a younger group of illusionists to nick an...

Now You See Me debuted way back in 2013 and took the audience by surprise with its incredible heist-thriller storyline and adrenaline-packed pacing. The success of the first film led to a sequel in 2016, but since then, the franchise has remained dormant.
Now, almost a decade since it was announced, the threequel, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is finally set to release at the end of this year. Bringing back the Four Horsemen, fans are elated to have them back, but there is also disappointment among fans over the absence of Mark Ruffalo in the recently released trailer.

Lionsgate surprised New Yorkers and fans nationwide this morning by giving away $250,000 in digital payments as part of a jaw-dropping Times Square stunt celebrating the trailer debut of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
Residents and tourists alike were met with a massive digital billboard flashing the words “Now You See Me,” a live countdown clock, and a mysterious phone number, inviting them to text or call for a surprise.
As the countdown hit zero, the billboard flipped to reveal: “Now You Don’T” and fans received a surprise text with the brand-new trailer – and instant cash prizes, courtesy of The Horsemen.
Franchise newcomers Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa joined the magic in person to help stage the visual “heist” in the heart of Times Square.
The stunt was designed to capture the spirit of magic and mischief that the franchise is known for.

Somehow, it's been almost a decade since our favourite band of criminally talented magicians, The Four Horsemen, last rode out in Jon M. Chu's 2016 heist sequel Now You See Me 2. Now, in the year of our Lord 2025, Venom and Uncharted director has brought the band — J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) — back together for ingeniously titled threequel Now You See Me: Now You Don't. And for their next trick, the Horsemen are enlisting a new generation of illusionists (Dominic Sessa! Ariana Greenblatt! Justice Smith!) to nab a whopping diamond and help take down a Rosamund Pike led criminal enterprise using the power of magic. And you can check out the splendidly silly, spellbinding trailer below:
"It is very good to be back!" declares Eisenberg's rizz wizard J. Daniel Atlas at the top of this flashy first trailer for Fleischer's film.

The band just got bigger in the Now You See Me: Now You Don’t trailer as the Four Horsemen return to give us another magic trick that probably will do some good to people. Other than the original members, including J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher), Morgan Freeman is back as the grandmaster of the Eye, Thaddeus Bradley.
New and young members are joining them too (we are yet to know their character’s names), with Rosamund Pike as the major antagonist, probably the head of the Vanderbergs, which we are yet to know is a powerful family or some big organization. Though we know, as the Now You See Me 3 trailer suggests, they are selling diamonds to warlords, arms dealers, and traffickers to help launder their money.
However, Mark Ruffalo’s Dylan Rhodes was missing...

The Four Horsemen are back for more card-counting, sleight-of-hand trickery, and cinema has officially been saved. Okay, that might be exaggerating a bit, but the third entry in the "Now You See Me" franchise has certainly been a long time coming. Not only have the decision-makers caved to fan pressure by subtitling the movie with something as amusing as "Now You Don't," but they've brought back our favorite quartet of magic-obsessed rogues ... and, this time, they're not alone.
It's been almost a full decade since the last "Now You See Me" movie arrived in theaters, but our Robin Hood-like heroes appear none the worse for wear. After years of struggling to get another sequel off the ground, Lionsgate has just released a new trailer that seems perfectly aware of its own production history. What else would you call Jesse Eisenberg's showman J. Daniel Atlas kicking off the footage from...

Joseph Kosinski is headed to Miami. The filmmaker behind the $1.49 billion hit Top Gun: Maverick is attached to direct a Miami Vice movie for Universal, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
Nightcrawler filmmaker Dan Gilroy is penning the script, from an earlier draft by Top Gun: Maverick scribe Eric Warren Singer, who had to move on to commitments on Amazon MGM Studios’ Best of Enemies, starring Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper. The Batman producer Dylan Clark is producing through Dylan Clark Productions and Kosinski producing through Monolith.
Miami Vice began life as the Anthony Yerkovich-created TV series starring Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas as two undercover Miami police officers known for their love of pastel suits. (“The ambition of the show was to break the form of everything that had come before,” executive producer Michael Mann told THR last year of the series, which ran from 1984-90 on NBC.

If you made it a tradition of watching The Holdovers every Christmas because you can't get enough of it, you will be happy to know that Miramax feels the same way. In a new report, Variety reveals that the production company is looking to transform several of its biggest titles into TV shows or limited series. One of them is the Oscar-winning comedy/drama, which first debuted in theaters in late 2023.
Since The Holdovers is in early development, there are not many details about the adaptation just yet. However, head of Miramax Jonathan Glickman wants director Alexander Payne (The Descendants) to be involved in the production. The reason why he wants that is very simple, as he stated:
“You need to have some connective tissue with the original property. It gives legitimacy to a project so it doesn’t seem like just a cash grab.”

The Now You See Me magical heist films are becoming a trilogy with Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, and Lionsgate has just disclosed some of the scenic shooting locations for the film. The Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi will be one such key location, due to its iconic city landscape.
Per Deadline, the third installment in the franchise, which has largely been kept under wraps, benefits from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission’s support, including a 35% rebate and logistical guidance. "The Lionsgate team benefited not only from Abu Dhabi Film Commission’s financial rebate offering, but also from the support of our key partners, Miral Destinations, facilitating key filming and the expertise of our local crew, led by Epic Films," said Mohamed Dobay, Acting General Director of Creative Media Authority.

Oscar Winner Morgan Freeman Early Career Days(Photo Credit –Facebook)
Every actor has a different story. Some become popular overnight, but some have endured years of struggle to make a mark in the film industry. In the Indian context, for instance, Hrithik Roshan became an instant Bollywood heartthrob after the release of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui struggled for so many years to gain the popularity that he has today. We can call it fate, destiny, or whatever we want, but it’s true.
The Hollywood Actor Who Became a Star At Age 50
Even in Hollywood, a veteran, Oscar-winning actor got his big break as an actor only when he turned fifty years old. We are talking about none other than Morgan Freeman. Whenever we come across his name, we imagine films like ‘The Shawshank Redemption’, ‘Seven’, and ‘Unforgiven’. But these films came much later in his career.

Lionsgate undoes its merger with Starz, as it seeks to double down on John Wick and The Hunger Games movies. More here.
As it juggles a busy movie slate – including John Wick spin-off Ballerina and the upcoming Now You See Me: Now You Don’t – Lionsgate has also been juggling some corporate shenanigans in the background.
It’s been a proposal on the cards since 2023 to reverse a merger that took place between Lionsgate and the television network Starz. A special shareholders meeting has now taken place to finally ratify the movie, that’ll see them as two separate publicly traded companies.
Lionsgate will move forward under the banner Lionsgate Studios Corp, and the move has been a response to growing uncertainty in the media industry. Not for nothing has Lionsgate been doubling down on its big hitters, with a new The Hunger Games film pressing ahead and John Wick: Chapter 5 already announced.

A Ready or Not sequel was confirmed earlier this year, and now we're starting to get more details about the upcoming film from Radio Silence, which will see the return of star Samara Weaving.
Weaving was the "final girl" from the 2019 movie. Her character, Grace, married into the Le Domas family, unaware of the twisted game they play on every family member's wedding day. Grace picks "Hide-and-Seek," leading her to run from the family as they try to murder her to fulfill their part of a generational curse.
Earlier this week, Searchlight Pictures shared an endearing promotional video announcing new cast members and more.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come
Even before the sequel was officially announced, fans hoped it would be subtitled "Here I Come." It's similar to Happy Death Day 2U and the upcoming Now You See Me: Now You Don't. Who doesn't love a clever title...

The Hollywood industry has always been filled with talented people of Jewish descent, be it actors, comedians, or musicians, some of whom openly embrace and celebrate their culture and heritage. We have actors like Seth Rogen, who frequently take on roles that discuss or represent being Jewish. One such example is the movie An American Pickle, which revolves around Jewish culture. Even stand-up comedian Sarah Silverman has often incorporated Jewish culture into her stand-up routines.
While some celebrities are vocal about their heritage and culture, others simply focus on their art rather than their background. So today, we will be looking at a list of actors with Jewish roots, as well as stars who have converted to Judaism later in life.
So here are 10 celebrities you didn’t know were Jewish.

Ruben Fleischer has directed Now You See Me 3, and he’s now set to direct Now You See Me 4 as well. More on the story here.
It’s taken a long, long time for Lionsgate to get the Now You See Me franchise back up and running. Turns out that for a long time, getting a fresh caper for a bunch of magicians moving is as hard as getting a new Blade movie made.
However, progress. As it turns out, lots of progress.

The third installment in the Now You See Me series has been officially titled. During Lionsgate's CinemaCon presentation, the studio unveiled Now You See Me: Now You Don't as the official title for the next entry in the heist thriller franchise.
The Now You Don't subtitle comes roughly a decade after fans wanted it for the 2016 sequel Now You See Me 2, also marketed as Now You See Me: The Second Act. While Now You See Me 2 director Jon M. Chu revealed to Entertainment Weekly that the title was discussed for the sequel, it was ultimately rejected due to being "really long" and "confusing." Now You See Me: Now You Don't is a reference to the common idiom of the same name, which is often uttered during games like peek-a-boo or magic tricks.
Now You See Me 4 Also Announced

The long-awaited threequel in the hugely popular Now You See Me franchise just got a magical update, with the heist follow-up now being given the title that fans have long wanted to see. And that's not all, as the third film won't be the end of the franchise.

The Four Horsemen are saddling up again. After years of speculation, delays, and the occasional vanishing act, Now You See Me 3 is finally happening. This, for years, felt like one of the franchise’s own tricks – hinted at, rumored, and then disappearing into thin air. Originally announced in 2016, the project seemed to be stuck in development limbo for the better part of a decade.

Lionsgate, however, has officially confirmed that the new Nysm film is set to hit theaters on November 14, 2025. If you’re wondering why Now You See Me 3 took so long, the production process wasn’t exactly smooth sailing.
Why did Now You See Me 3 take so long?
Delays due to scheduling conflicts, script rewrites, and even the pandemic pushed the film back multiple times. But finally, in November 2024, filming wrapped, and the movie is currently in post-production.

Every year, I enjoy grilling the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s Writers Panel, the smart folks who wrote the best movies of the year. Three of this group of Oscar nominees adapted their screenplays.
For “Conclave” — nominated for eight Oscars including Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay, Best Actor Ralph Fiennes, and Supporting Actress Isabella Rossellini — Peter Straughan elegantly adapted Robert Harris’ 2016 papal thriller. He captures the political chess game of pitting the pieces against each other, which lets the audience try to follow who’s winning. But he also focused on one cardinal (Ralph Fiennes) and his interior journey facing doubt. Straughan started out as a playwright but moved to writing films like “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” when he figured out how much more money he could make. He did make some cinematic changes: He added more explosions.

Following the box office success of “Den of Thieves: Pantera,” Lionsgate is moving a third film in the action series starring Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson, Jr. into active development.
Butler and Jackson are expected to return for the threequel, and Lionsgate is in talks with franchise writer-director Christian Gudegast to return to write and direct.
Butler would produce through his G-Base banner alongside partner Alan Siegel, and series producer Tucker Tooley, who brought “Den of Thieves” to Lionsgate from STX, is also set to produce through Tucker Tooley Entertainment, which will also jointly finance the film.
Through three weeks in theaters, “Den of Thieves: Pantera” has grossed $32 million at the domestic box office, standing as Lionsgate’s highest-grossing film in theaters since the start of 2024. The film was released on premium on-demand this past Tuesday.

One of the year's most anticipated films is Now You See Me 3, the latest movie to feature the Four Horsemen, the magician ensemble that is also remarkably skilled at pulling off heists, and for one of the trilogy's stars, Dave Franco, the hope is that this is just part 3 of a ten movie series, given how much fun he has, and how much he adores working with his fellow magicians. Speaking to Collider's Steve Weintraub alongside his wife Alison Brie — while promoting their new film Together at the Sundance Film Festival— Franco couldn't stop gushing about the camaraderie he shares with the cast, which includes returning stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, and Isla Fisher, as well as newcomers like Rosamund Pike.
