After making his peace with Rosa he arrests Fedor, a Moldovan suspected of killing Haider and Ema believes he was bribed to murder him, not only for money but for fake immigration papers from corrupt judges. - As Haider Jamail Abdi becomes a known commodity, River feels shame that it took him so long to see so little. Ira makes an effort to walk a mile in the moccasins of his partner with varying results; he does come to sense Stevie. River confronts Tom at Court and sees some telling body language; he urges Tom to come clean with Chrissie but Tom has other agenda. Michael Bennigan continues to appear as steadfast anchor for the Stevenson clan. River really wants to tell Chrissie the truth when she asks him; he gives her a single nugget of veracity. The Lambeth Poisoner continues to spew vile garbage so harshly that Rosa notices and makes River talk to her. - River and Ira investigate the murder of kebab shop worker Haider Jamal Abdi in a public library. They focus on both a cleaner, who was captured on CCTV but who does not appear on the books of the library's cleaning contractor, as well as on the lawyer who represented Haider at an immigration tribunal. Their findings lead them to a possible understanding of what Stevie herself may have been investigating and which might have led to her death.
