Sex & Nudity

  • There is a party scene with lots of sexual mild references and teenage drinking.
  • Tons and tons of sexual references all throughout the episode.
  • Sheriff Hopper is shown getting out of bed presumably naked after an implied encounter with a woman who also appears to be naked under the sheets. Later, they have a conversation while she is dressed only in a shirt.

Violence & Gore

  • Barb cuts her finger with a knife. A little bit of blood shown. She is then later seen with her finger bandaged, and a little bit of blood drips from it
  • A police officer wants to jump down a giant cliff to land in the water, though Hopper tells him that he'll die.
  • Girls and boys jump in a pool, no one chokes.
  • Threathening is mentioned heavily to Eleven in one scene.
  • A nose bleed happens.

Profanity

  • S**t is said a few times this episodes language is pretty mild
  • When two police officers are talking one says "they screwed each other right?" When they aren't talking about hopper and Joyce this is when they are looking for will and is easy to skip

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Lots of smoking and drinking.
  • During a party scene, many people except Barb smoke and do a little challenge where you drink beer after cutting a hole and chugging all in one go. Instead of drinking the normal way.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Much of the music and ambience is scary.
