Only very few good moments in this one Warning: Spoilers
This is a 90 minute television movie about a woman who ends up having a relationship with a younger man and his father at the same time. The film was made two years ago and is mostly a comedy, but it also has some dramatic elements. However, neither of these work and as if that is not already enough, it is almost never funny either. The script and cast just don't have it. The film's director Holger Haase becomes 40 this year and is fairly experienced in terms of television filmmaking and here he even has a little cameo as an actor. The writer has a fair share of experience as well, which makes it especially disappointing to see such an uninspired script after a long career.

One of the cast members is Maximilian Grill ("Der letzte Bulle"), possibly one of the least talented actors currently working here in Germany. No idea why he still gets cast. At least, he only plays a minor character here, not that the central characters are better portrayed. The whole cast is fairly unknown. You may have seen lead actress Katharina Müller-Elmau in "Vincent will Meer". The film won a lot including the best picture category at the German Film Awards that year and Müller-Elmau was also nominated for her supporting performance there. But judging from her performance in this film here, she just have not much range and her acting seems more artificial than artistic. Another problem of this movie is that there are really no likable characters, for which you could also blame the screenwriter. And you can certainly blame her for quotes like "Axel the sperm bank", which are intended to be funny, but are really just embarrassing. On a side-note, in terms of realism, the age gap between father and son was almost too small to make it look credible. Very edgy. The arguments between the two are not particularly well-acted or well-written either. And that one "Psycho" dream sequence was cringeworthy. The music is over-the-top dramatic and the ending is basically what you could expect 30 minutes into the movie.

As the film goes on, it becomes more and more a drama and less and less a comedy. It's a bit of a problem as this movie takes itself far more seriously than it has any right to do. Not recommended.
