Mann oh Mann
weelad3 November 2018
Stumbled upon this and found the chemistry between the cast really good, helps the main couple are married in real life. Script pops along nicely and Jones are good. But the awful canned laughter and echoing off the sets when the actors talk is strange and does put you off. There needs to be an actual audience with occasional bursts from a few people to help those awful silences you'd get from filming on a location. If it's a closed set it needs to change.

David is "Him"

This show was a surprise. Don't watch television too often but came across this show on Covid restrictions. David is hilarious and I can relate to this show because I'm Law Enforcement. The fake laugher sound is wayyy too much, can't stop hearing it. The two little kids are loud but funny. Tony Rock is a good supporting actor and also funny. Tamela is the mom you would love to have. Her and David work well together and it shows. The two older children are kind of hilarious. The actress from the Steve Harvey show back in the early 2000's is the supervisor of David. She is a hard nose boss. Give it B-

Nice, but lame humor
because-of-him22 March 2020
What made Home Improvement and other comedies great was live audience laughter and interactions. This show, Mann & Wife, is weak because the laugh track is too often used. Some humor results in greater or lesser laughs, but this show seems to use the same intensity with every humor line, lame ones included. Nonetheless, it is nice to watch a comedy without cringing due to objectionable speech or scenes.
