Imaginative and entertaining Stormy vehicle
Stormy Daniels entrusted her script to director Jonathan Morgan for this Wicked Pictures screwball comedy, and it is one of their best collaborations.
Intentionally not glamorized or shot in porn's "pretty girl" fashion, Stormy instead emphasizes her comedic acting, pulling faces and creating an indelible, oddball character named Brenna. Her odyssey takes her from divorce (from creepy Toni Ribas) to jail (for assaulting Toni after he cheats her out of her pre-nup) and on to wacky adventures as The Bait for kindly bail bondsman/bounty hunter Steven St. Croix.
It's all directed with a light touch by Morgan, who moves from farce to some serious moments skilfully. The broad performances by Stormy and her talented co-stars (including numerous unbilled cameo roles) help the humorous side, while Morgan recycles the breezy song "A Perfect Day" from his classic Alektra Blue comedy "Best Day Ever".
