Harry Hill: Jacob Scribble

Quotes

  • [Jacob and Maurizio hide in a vase and spy on their masters, but at the moment they're doing nothing but dancing. Maurizio sees no harm in it and bounds out of the vase, yanking Jacob out behind him]

Maurizio di Mauro : Come on, Jacob! I'll lead!

[Maurizio waltzes with Jacob across Tyrannia's living room floor, to Jacob's chagrin]

Jacob Scribble : Maurizio, what are you doing? Let me go! Oh-h-h! This is giving my rheumatism rheumatism!

  • Jacob Scribble : Well, I'd say the wizards are really stepping out tonight!

Maurizio di Mauro : And I'd say it's time for us to do the same!

[He pulls Jake onto the dancefloor]

Jacob Scribble : No! No, Maurizio! My- my rheumatis- Come on! Let me go! Stop it! It's still sore! Oh...

  • Maurizio di Mauro : I thought you said the park would be less crowded!

Jacob Scribble : How did I know everybody would be having a picnic today?

  • Auntie Noah : It appears that since the spell involves music, I have to sing the riddle.

Jacob Scribble : [desperately]  I don't care if you have to recite it standing on your head! Just give it to us!

Auntie Noah : My, aren't we pushy today.

  • [after Auntie Noah finishes singing the riddle]

Auntie Noah : Care for an encore?

Maurizio di Mauro , Jacob Scribble : No!

  • [Ownerless shoes dancing on their own force Moe and Jake to flee across the street, into a crowd of people]

Maurizio di Mauro : They've got us surrounded!

Jacob Scribble : Don't worry. I'll airlift us out.

[He tries to fly, but he can only get a few inches off the ground]

Jacob Scribble : Flight's cancelled. Rheumatism's locked up the old wings again.

Maurizio di Mauro : It's okay, Jacob. We'll be safe as long as we stay in the very center.

    [They stand back to back]

Jacob Scribble : Looks like there's only one way out of this, good buddy. How are you at digging holes?

Maurizio di Mauro : Think of awful- then double it!

Jacob Scribble : Great. That's one more thing we've got in common.
