After a good run of form this is a rather dull episode of the modern version of 'The Odd Couple', that is up there with 'The Ghost writer' as being in contention for the weakest episode of the first series.
While Yvette Nicole Brown and Wendell Pierce give good performances, the main story isn't that funny, and relies more on the presence of some guest stars than any good jokes.
Matthew Perry is almost trying too hard in this episode, perhaps pushing to make some weaker material work. But in contrast to a nuanced performance from Thomas Lennon, he over does it a bit here.
Not a good episode.
