During production of the movie, the film makers were contacted by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding one of the film's viral websites. Due to the perceived authenticity of the site, the DOJ threatened imprisonment and substantial federal fines, believing the website infringed on the department's likeness to locate the missing men from the film.
After several tense days of legal negotiation between the production's attorneys and the Justice Department, the site was reinstated and continues to serve the motion picture.
