On a Friday night of mostly repeats and holiday specials, Fox was the only network to run a full slate of originals. As it was, MasterChef Junior (0.9/3) and World's Funniest (0.6/2) both got hit by the expected post-Thanksgiving lull, with millions of Americans beginning their trek home. The Gordon Ramsay led cooking series saw an 18% drop among adults 18-49 from its November 20 show. Its Terry Crews hosted follow up was down 14% in its 9 Pm slot from the week before. Mas…...

Last season, despite some very low ratings, Fox renewed World's Funniest Fails for a second season, likely because it's very cheap to produce. They've now shortened the title to just World's Funniest and have expanded the show's focus. Will the numbers rise in season two or will they fall even lower? Cancelled or renewed for a third season? Stay tuned.
Hosted by Terry Crews, World's Funniest showcases the best in viral and soon-to-be-viral videos, featuring funny and adorable animals and kids, as well as human triumphs and fails. Each episode features a panel of celebrities and comedians who comment on the videos and choose their favorites.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data...

Whether Terry Crews is making his pecs dance, battling Mike Tyson, or hosting World’s Funniest, which returns to Fox on Friday, he is often making us laugh. But the former pro-football player known for his energetic optimism told Vulture during a recent phone interview he had to learn to be joyful. He also shared his thoughts on fatherhood, what he has in common with the Hulk, and his dream of hosting a variety show.Fox asked you to host World’s Funniest. Why did you want to do it? I have so much fun with live audiences and with things where I can just kind of be myself and not play a character. My dream has always been to have a variety show, and this is the closest to it in this new day and age. It was called Funniest Fails for the first couple times, but now it...

Terry Crews is one of the more comical actors on television at the moment, really coming into his own as funnyman Sergeant Terry Jeffords alongside Andy Samberg, Stephanie Beatriz and Joe Lo Truglio in Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The actor may be well-known for playing the muscle-headed joker, with his roles in films like Bridesmaids and television shows like Arrested Development, but he's clearly unwilling to accept being typecast as "that guy" as proven by his latest comments that he would love to play a superhero -- specifically, Silver Surfer. It was in a recent Reddit Ama where Crews answered fans' questions about his current projects including the above-mentioned Fox comedy and his gig as host of shows like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and World's Funniest Fails, that the former NFL athlete-turned actor talked about playing the Marvel superhero. He not only talked about filling the role of the iconic...

Fast National ratings for Friday, January 16, 2015. At the top, Friday was business-as-usual, with "Shark Tank" hitting a season high to lead ABC to victory among young viewers and "Blue Bloods" helping CBS dominate overall. In the lower reaches, though, there were a lot of notables. NBC shifted "Constantine" to a new time period and the result was a weaker performance than the struggling drama's last 10 p.m. airing. On the more positive front, Fox's "Glee" continued to limp off in its final season, but at least relatively speaking, the Terry Crews-hosted "World's Funniest Fails" got off to an Ok start. And over on The CW, the time period season premiere of "Hart of Dixie" got off to what is, again relatively speaking, a solid start. On to the numbers... Among adults 18-49, ABC averaged a 1.6 rating for Friday night, edging out CBS' 1.4 rating in the key demographic. NBC's 1.0 and...

Terry Crews might play a tough guy in The Expendables and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but deep down he just likes to giggle at cat videos.
Crews, 46, has added another line to his packed résumé: host of Fox's new viral-video show World's Funniest Fails, premiering Friday night.
Crews has been obsessing over Internet videos since his daughter Tera, 16, showed him "Scarlet Takes a Tumble" on YouTube. "What happens is, you get in a rabbit hole," he tells People. "All of a sudden, two hours later, you're watching all these videos."
When Fox approached him about hosting Fails, Crews said he realized the...
